Crazy Tees began in California in 1989, back when graphic tees were bold, expressive, and meant to be worn loud. Originally, we were called Titi de Paris, and our journey started in Costa Mesa, California, selling tees at the legendary Orange County Marketplace. At the time, the flea market was massive — over 1,200 vendors — and it quickly became home. We worked hard, built a loyal following, and did incredibly well there for many years. Along the way, we also opened a brick-and-mortar store in Long Beach on 2nd Street called Out of My Mind. Why that name? Because just about everyone we knew said: “Are you out of your mind opening a store?” Turns out… they were wrong 😉
In 2009, everything changed. The real estate market crashed, people lost jobs, homes, and stability — and like many small businesses, we were deeply affected. That year, we made a big decision: we sold our house and moved to Florida for a fresh start.
That fresh start became Crazy Tees.
We opened our new store at the Festival Marketplace in Pompano Beach, a well-known flea market full of local, family-run businesses. Once again, we poured our hearts into it — and once again, the community showed up. We thrived there for many years, right up until May 2025, when the property was sold and 250 small mom-and-pop businesses lost their home overnight. A tough moment — and a real bummer. But Crazy Tees has never been about giving up.
In June 2025, we heard that some former Festival Marketplace vendors had reopened at Aspen Plaza in Coral Springs. We went to check it out and met the owner, Fabio Tylim, who was incredibly welcoming. It felt right — so we reopened our store there.
Soon after, we met Fabio’s daughter, Dani, and clicked immediately. Just like her dad, she was kind, creative, and full of ideas. As a website designer, she encouraged us to take the next step and bring Crazy Tees online — so people everywhere could shop the tees we’ve been creating for decades. And here we are. From flea markets to storefronts to online, Crazy Tees is still about the same things it’s always been about: Crazy comfort, Crazier designs, Music, pop culture, humor, and personality
Thanks for being part of our story — we’re so glad you’re here.
